Location: Cuyamaca State Park, Merigan Trail Head
$8.00 parking fee at trail head
Time: Ride out at 10:00 a.m.
Directions: 8 East exit Hwy 79, left at bottom of exit. Left at Riverside Dr. Follow to Viejas Blvd (straight) Left into Merigan Trail Head right after you pass McClintock Saddles on the right.
Trail: 3 hour trail ride with lunch half way. Horses must be able in reasonably good shape to go up and down the mountain. Please bring/wear halter and lead rope to tie during lunch.
Food: Bring your lunch, along with plenty of water.
Clothing: It can be cold and or warm. Dress in layers, jacket, gloves, hat/helmet,

RIDE UPDATE:
Our 2nd club ride had a great turnout. Ernie is a ride magnet with 13 riders joining him at Merigan's Trailhead. All the horses were great and everyone had a great time. Members joining the ride were Karen, Bree, Steve, Bobbi, Gail, Lisa, Judy, Danette, Billi-Jo, Deborah, Denise, LeeAnne, and new member Shannon.
