Feb 13 - 17, 2014 at Stagecoach with LFR, PVMR, BCH, and RTA
Camp Update:
78 horses came to Stagecoach! The four clubs enjoyed three Potlucks and the LFR Pancake Breakfast. The campout started out at 90 degrees, then cooled down thru the weekend. The California Riding and Hiking Trail was wonderfully free of cactus. New members joined LFR at our first campout, new people joined the club, and the new clubhouse was awesome. Pancake Breakfast served almost 70 people. Please see the Photo Gallery for more Pictures of the Potlucks, other Rides, and the Pancake Breakfast.

Sign up for corrals at Stagecoach is full. There is room for trailers if horses tie to the trailer, and room for portable corrals. Please contact the Stagecoach Office for options to join this campout. Most folks sign up for Friday - Monday, but many riders arrive on Thursday, Feb 13 to enjoy a longer weekend. There is an arena and bull ring to get those yayas out of your horse if need be.
The brand new Clubhouse at Stagecoach has been reserved by LFR for all Clubs, with the cost of the clubhouse to be split between the clubs. Both the Kitchen and the Lounge space have been reserved for Fri - Sun night. The Kitchen will be available to heat and cook for the potluck held Friday and Saturday night. If you use the kitchen, you are responsible to clean up after yourself. On Sunday evening, everyone brings their leftovers to share if they want to. The Lounge is for all to meet, hang out, play games and visit with other clubs and members during this weekend. After the potluck, folks get together to visit, play games and cards.
Weather: The weather can be cold, windy, and sometimes rain. Last year, 2013, we had perfect weather all weekend. Usually we get one day of rain, but not in 2013. We strongly recommend Winter Blankets and spare blankets in case of rain, for your horses. Bring cold weather clothing for yourself as well. There is a general store, Shower and laundry facilities along with water/electrical hookups, water every four - six corrals, bring a water bucket for your horse.
