We use to ride our horses to the overnight campouts, that's what this is about:

this was taken sometime in the mid to late 1990's...

We were riding to Butterfield campground via Oroflame Canyon – an all day ride about 6-8 hours.

Christmas 2003 LFR Christmas party...

LFR used to enter the Lakeside Chili Cookoff – and this year (mid to late 1990’s) we did very well!!!...from left: Rhonda Kabot, Charlene Phelps, “Chili the Kid” and Mark Gassert.
 

LFR used to be in a lot of parades, this is the Mother Goose Parade – Buck Ward is the guy on the left, and the horse on the right is Yankee, he was the oldest horse burned in the Oct 2003 wildfires (he survived – was about 31 or 32 years old)
